Earlier Career

Jean-Luc began his legal career at The Bronx Defenders, a nationally recognized holistic defense organization in New York, where he represented parents in defense proceedings as part of the Family Defense Practice. He subsequently held positions in Miami, including service as an Equal Justice Works Fellow at the Community Justice Project before relocating to Florida full-time and joining the Hillsborough County trial defense bar.
